PORCELAIN FACADE SYSTEMS

The porcelain ventilated façade is an exterior cladding choice for buildings which combines aesthetic appeal and thermal features.  From the structural point of view, the system is fastened to the building perimeter using an aluminum grid with U shaped wall holders and it projects outward to allow for exterior insulation and a cavity for airflow.  Using this construction technique, the surface of the porcelain cladding remains separate from the building structure.  The resulting cavity is partially filled with a layer of thermal insulation leaving the rest of the cavity empty to allow for ventilation.  This continuous flow of air provides significant benefits in terms of breathability and decreased heat loads.
